Just last week, we posted an inspiring video of Olive Wise, a young girl suffering from brain cancer, singing a touching cover of Katy Perry‘s smash single “Roar.”
This time around, dozens of children and staff from the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in New Hampshire put together a video of the brave kids lip-syncing along to “Roar.” The video is meant raise money for CHaD’s annual CHaD HERO Half Marathon & Ripcord 5K, which raised a whopping $650K this year alone.
No more worrying about “first world” problems, because this video will put everything in perspective for you.
Don’t know if Katy knew “Roar” would be more than a pop anthem, but it’s clear this song is inspiring young sick children to stay strong and fight their illnesses. Grab a few tissues and check out the video up top.
