This week, M.I.A. finally released her long-delayed Matangi album to mostly strong reviews.
The Sri Lankan powerhouse has been doing her usual pop star duties of promoting the record, and one of her stops was at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Backed by the show’s house band, The Roots, M.I.A. performed her hit “Come Walk With Me.” Compared to a typical M.I.A. show, this performance was a little turnt down, but it was still pretty entertaining.
The singer did double duty on the show: she also chatted with Fallon for a couple of moments. During the talk, she tells an interesting story about The Roots that you definitely need to check out.
