It’s been known that when most women make a drastic change to their hair it’s because they just went through an equally dramatic break-up but that wasn’t the case for Jennifer Lawrence.
The actress simply just wanted to have a new beginning for her damaged, over processed tresses and because according to her it was just straight ugly!
In a recent interview she said on her look before her now new cute pixie cut:
“My hair couldn’t get any uglier,”
She added:
“I don’t know, I cut it earlier, and it was just kind of like [shoulder-length] and it grew to that awkward, gross length,”
And she just got sick and tired:
“I just kept putting it back in a bun, and I said, ‘Well I don’t want to do this,’ so I just cut it off.”
Right on!
But have no fear. The blonde beauty says long locks will be back in for her role in Hunger Games:
“This isn’t how Katniss is going to look in the next movies, don’t worry. I’m wearing a wig.”
