After taking most of 2013 off, Lana Del Rey is prepping for a big 2014. And she’s going to do it by dropping something huge at the end of the year.
On December 5th, Lana will debut her 30-minute short film Tropico on Vevo. The movie was directed by Anthony Mandler, the dude who did the excellent “National Anthem” video, and it will feature music from her Born to Die and Born to Die: The Paradise Edition projects.
The “Young and Beautiful” singer has been dropping teasers for the project, but she just hit us with the film’s official trailer, which is very beautiful and also sorta abstract.
Watch the trailer above, and look for the film to hit on December 5th.
