Despite hip-hop being known as a battle sport, Kanye West wants you to know that he and Drake are not playing that game.
Rumors have been swirling that the Yeezus rapper was upset with Drake for signing a deal with Nike after ‘Ye blasted the brand for not giving him royalties from his shoe line.
But a source close to West told TMZ that although he still hates Nike, he is not upset with Drake at all. The source told TMZ:
“Kanye will always be happy with rappers taking steps in the fashion world.”
Drake partnered with Nike to release his own special OVO Air Jordans, which is certainly a dream come true for the Canadian rapper and self-proclaimed Michael Jordan fanatic. Drizzy has come a long way since his days at Degrassi.
