Khloe Kardashian has been going through a lot lately after filing for divorce from Lamar Odom, but one thing she’s not doing is dating Matt Kemp.
Rumors that Matt Kemp and Khloe were hooking up started flying after the Dodgers heavy hitter posted a picture inside the Jenner household.
But it turns out the two are NOT an item.
“They are just friends and have been for a long time,” a source tells PEOPLE of the relationship buzz, spurred by the baseball star’s Instagram post of Kris Jenner’s Christmas tree on Thursday. “Khloé is absolutely heartbroken right now [over Lamar] and dating someone is the last thing she’s thinking about.”
While we are not ready to rule out the pair getting together in the future, insiders tell us Matt Kemp has been keeping company with another celebrity lady friend.
While Lamar doesn’t have to deal with his soon-to-be ex-wife dating someone else, he does have to deal with divorce during a difficult time. Khloe filed for divorce just two days before his late son’s birthday. Jayden, who tragically died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, would have been 8 years old, but lost his life at six months.
His mother Liza Morales uploaded a picture and wrote:

Lamar is still in pain over his son, and has spoken about him often. Lamar revealed that Jayden, “had really strong eyes. He would just kind of like watch me, and stare at me like he knew me from somewhere else.”
We can only imagine what Khloe and Lamar are going through; the last thing they need to deal with are silly rumors.
If the rumors aren’t enough, it appears that Lamar Odom’s daughter is happy that Lamar isn’t with Khloe anymore. According to the Daily Mail, 15-year-old Destiny Odom ripped Khloe:
