One of Tinseltown’s most physically gifted couples may be taking a break from their relationship. According to RadarOnline, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are gearing up for a relationship ‘time out.’

Sources revealed that the actors, who were often spotted getting cuddly around NYC, came to the conclusion that they were moving too fast. The site reports:

“There was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed. They’ve decided to take a break to reevaluate their romance.”

Gosling, 33, is set to make his directorial debut with the film How To Catch A Monster in 2014, co-starring Mendes, which is allegedly the reason he’s been trying to lay low.

The source also told Radar that Ryan is the one second-guessing the relationship, but Eva is ready for children.

“Eva wanted to have his babies. The real question is how Eva is going to figure into Ryan’s plans.”

The source added:

“They both know they need some kind of resolution in their relationship before they go out and promote their movie, in which Ryan directed Eva in a very big part. At the end of the day they are both so uncertain about their future.”

These two are gorgeous together, but we wouldn’t be mad if Mr. Gosling ended up single again…
