She may be busy dealing with her daughter’s divorce, but Kris Jenner is finally speaking on her own recent separation.
Kris, 58, and Bruce Jenner, 64, separated earlier this fall after 22 years of marriage. They’ve been spotted together since, but rumors that they’re headed for actual divorce keep making their way into the headlines.
Kris, 58, recently spoke with PEOPLE, discussing her separation from Bruce while at a Ciroc event in L.A.:
“We’re great. He’s great and I’m great and we’re such good friends. Sometimes people are just better apart and have better energy.”
Kris said there is no talk of divorce but she and Bruce are getting along better since separating.
“We don’t bicker as much,” she said. “We were starting to sound like some old sitcom from the ’50s. I listened to myself and didn’t like me. Everyone is happier. The kids are great, they notice the difference and how the energy in the house has shifted and how great everyone is.”
So will Kris and Bruce be spending time together during the holidays?
“Bruce came over last night because he just had to see the tree again! It’s really fun. I get so excited during the holidays,” she said. “I get excited when he’s coming over. We enjoy seeing each other more now.”
