Police in Brooklyn, N.Y. say the body of a 50-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in Prospect Park early Monday morning.
The man, who has not been identified, was found with a rope around his neck. He was spotted near the park’s lake around 3:44 a.m. Prospect Park is a popular spot for bikers and runners in the Brooklyn area.
Authorities are classifying his death as a suicide. We’ll keep you updated on any new developments.
