She’s baaack.
Selena Gomez has been the face of headlines this week after reports surfaced that she took a 2-week trip to a rehab center last month.
While the 21-year-old didn’t go for any particular substance abuse, she just made one of her first public outings since the news broke – and she looks like the same Selena we know and love.
Donning some workout gear, adidas sneakers, and sunglasses, the former Disney channel star kept it casual as she made her way through the streets of L.A. Tons of alleged details have been emerging regarding her rehab stint, including the fact that it was mostly to help her cope with letting go of her relationship with Justin Bieber.
According to E! News, the picture paps took of her and Bieber on Segways was the last straw for her, and she decided to get some real help to let go.
A source revealed to the site:
“The last straw was seeing them on the Segways,” the source shared.
“She needed to work on her emotional life. She needed to learn tools on how to deal with Justin and letting go of that relationship.”
The insider added, however, that “everything is OK at the moment with her family.”
While Selena puts rehab behind her, she’s also been reading scripts to pass her free time.
Hopefully we see her make her way back onto the big screen soon. Spring Breakers 2, anyone? No? OK.
