Can you believe it’s been a decade already?

Ten years ago, Kanye West made his big debut to the music world as a rapper when he came out with The College Dropout.

The historic rap record has been argued as one of the greatest debut albums, which is why the team behind the project is now coming out with details in celebration of its anniversary.

Erika from Billboard recently sat down with Coodie Simmons and Chike Oza, who helped direct the album, and they shared some stories about ‘Ye, and also some never-before-seen footage.

From getting the wire cut out of his mouth that he rapped with on “Through The Wire,” to Pharrell’s priceless reaction to working with Kanye in the studio, it’s clear that Yeezy was making his mark way before he became Yeezus.

Check out the dope video above.
