A 15-year-old girl named Adrian Broadway was shot and killed by a man who opened fire on a group of teenagers who allegedly egged his home, according to reports.

According to Arkansas Times, the teenagers were about to get away with the prank when Willie Noble reportedly ran out of his house and opened fire on their vehicle, killing Adrian and injuring one of her friends.

The site reports:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting just occurred call at 0053 hours on 2/15/14 to theKum & Go Station located at 7620 Baseline Road. A white Hyundai Sonata with Arkansas License (SKYCZ) was observed parked in front of the business. The driver’s side window of the vehicle was shattered and there was a bullet hole observed near the driver’s side door handle.

There were multiple subjects inside the Sonata. A female passenger identified as Adrian Broadway (B/F 10/7/98) was unresponsive and suffered a gunshot wound to the head. She later died at Children’s Hospital as a result of her injuries. The driver Dshone Nelson (B/M 1/30/96) had minor lacerations to his hands from the broken glass.

The victims reported[ly] had done a prank on the suspect’s home when he ran out of the house and started shooting at the vehicle. The ages of the youth in the vehicle are 18 Nelson (driver), 15 Broadway (front seat passenger, rear seat passengers were 17 and two (2) 15-year-olds. Nelson was transported to Baptist Hospital for his injuries. Broadway was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she expired from her injuries.

Noble has now been charged with first-degree murder, terroristic threatening, and five counts of assault.

It’s believed that the prank was done out of retaliation, since there is speculation that Noble’s son pulled a Halloween prank on the teens previously.

We pray for the family of Adrian Broadway at this time. This is a terribly unfortunate and sad occurrence in their lives. Adrian’s friend Tara posted a Flipagram of pictures that can be seen above.
