Eleven days away, ya’ll. Eleven days until one of the biggest albums of the year, Rick Ross‘ Mastermind, drops. The big record on that album is the Jeezy-featured “War Ready.” The song features one-time enemies Rick Ross and Jeezy playing nice together, while rapping about killing other folks.
Since the song dropped, the question everyone has been asking is: how did the two reconcile their differences? In a new radio interview with Streetz945ATL, Ross broke down how the two mended their differences:
“Me and Jeezy ran into each, and we personally spoke. And we bossed up. Because, at the end of the day, it’s bigger than Rick Ross. It’s bigger than Young Jeezy. We got to do this for the South. We got to do this for the culture. At the end of the day, we never split no blood. We ain’t never lost no money with each other. So whatever it was was small talk anyway. So let’s boss up and get this real paper.”
“Boss up and get this real paper.” Truer words have never been spoken. Ross also talked about Diddy’s involvement with the album, buying Evander Holyfield’s crib, and what his favorite record on the album is.
