Pharrell is a modern-day style icon. However, even some of the most fashionable people were shaking their heads when the famed producer showed up to the 2014 Grammys wearing a massive Vivienne Westwood Buffalo hat.
The hat instantly became infamous. (And quite the topic on Twitter). It’s so famous that the hat is currently on eBay, with bids well over $10,000.
Is there anyone else in the world who could have pulled off that hat? Or, better question: is there anyone else in the world who would have attempted it?
We say no. Pharrell has always been a little risky with his style.
So for this post: let’s salute his headgear, and take a look at a history of Pharrell’s hats over the last 15 years or so.
