OK, from the look of things, someone is out here trimming and collecting the manes of mystical unicorns. How inhumane! But there’s no need to be alarmed: it’s just a bundle of Demi Lovato’s freshly-shaved hair. Wait. What?
When you’re in the middle of a 44-show international tour, things can get a little hectic backstage between rehearsals and pre-show warm-ups. So, what’s one way to save time getting ready with hair and makeup so you can spend it getting in the zone before the curtains are drawn? Shave your hair off, duh. Because that would be the totally rational thing to do in our opinion.
But to be honest, we don’t know why Demi decided to go partially bald yesterday evening, and quite frankly, we don’t care, because she’s working it. She posted a photo of a bundle of her pink tresses alongside hair clippers on Instagram with no other explanation than:
“So…. This happened…… Oops. #NEONLIGHTSTOUR”
Because sometimes, oopsies happen, right? Before her fans started freaking out thinking Demi went G.I. Jane on us, she revealed her new ‘do, and it wasn’t as drastic as we thought.
This time, we got a bit more insight behind why she decided to buzz off only a small patch of her locks from her caption, which read “IDGAF.”
