Anyone who follows Miley Cyrus on Twitter or Instagram knows that aside from her music, her true loves in life are her dogs.
The “We Can’t Stop” singer took to Twitter this morning to reveal some devastating news. Her beloved dog Floyd, an Alaskan Klei Kai, died early Tuesday morning.
Miley tweeted:
“Today is the 2nd worst day of my life. I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken.”
The 21-year-old became the owner of the late pup back in 2011.
Floyd passed away while Cyrus was away on the Bangerz tour.
She continued on Twitter:
“For everyone asking… I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken….. Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.”
Before Miley’s next stop on the Bangerz tour in Boston, she warned fans that she may not be herself.
Miley is still the owner of dogs Ziggy, Happy and Mary Jane.
