Obviously forgetting that Easter is the Lord’s Day, a Pittsburgh man decided to pelt his girlfriend with hardboiled eggs they were dyeing together at an Easter egg decorating party, leaving her with a black eye.
Needless to say, the egg thrower was arrested. But not before things got even weirder.
Aaron Goempel, 27, locked himself in his bedroom with a makeshift barricade — an exercise machine — to avoid police. But once the officers got through, he reached for a row of knives and swords on his dresser.
Because of course he would have a sword collection.
Cops eventually hauled Goempel off as he yelled racist obscenities and kicked another officer in the groin. And not surprisingly, this isn’t his first time in trouble with the law.
According to court records, Goempel’s criminal record includes guilty verdicts for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness dating to 2008.
And apparently assault. With Easter eggs. Way to ruin the holiday, dude.
