Time for “Free Breezy” to go into overdrive. Chris Brown’s assault trial, which was set to begin April 23, was postponed until June — a move that means the singer will spend at least a couple more months in jail as he awaits his turn. On Thursday morning, three American doctors were killed in Kabul, Afghanistan when an Afghan police officer shot them in an attack at a private hospital. The Taliban did not claim responsibility for the attack, leading authorities to believe that the gunman was possibly part of a growing class of Afghans upset with the presence of Americans in the country. A terrifying hostage situation at Trumbull County Jail in Ohio came to an end Wednesday night, after three inmates, 29-year-old David Martin, 27-year-old Richard Ware and 24-year-old Kevin Johns, grabbed Sheriff Tom Altiere that afternoon and barricaded themselves off from the rest of the jail. Martin was able to call local reporters during the incident, telling them he had “nothing to lose.” But before 9 p.m., officers were able to get the situation under control.
