DJ Khaled is declaring this summer “his” with a new Jay Z single. The famed DJ/producer stopped by MTV News to chop it up with Rob Markman.
Of course the topic of Khaled’s summer reign came up, and well, Khaled went off. Rob attempted to calm the Palestinian producer down, but to no avail; Khaled continued his colorful speech.
Yelling things like, “eight summers,” “On my mama,” “I got Jay Z,” “I got Shawn Carter,” “I’m the king of the anthems,” “the summer’s mine,” we’re sure to be seeing these Khaled quotables all over Twitter.
Khaled’s announcement of his new Jay Z single correlates perfectly with the confirmation of Jay Z and Beyonce’s collaboration “On The Run” tour. Khaled’s a smart, smart man.
