There’s been no shortage of rumors surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s impending nuptials, unfortunately it seems they’re just that: rumors.
Yesterday, the Internets were abuzz with the belief that Jay Z would be standing next to ‘Ye as he said his “I do’s,” however we now know that’s completely false. Though Jay won’t be standing at the altar with the happy couple or giving a booze-fueled speech about his bestie Kanye, the music mogul is still playing a major role in their marriage.
According to TMZ, Kim and Yeezy can’t tie the knot until they’ve signed their pre-nup. The couple hit a snag in the signing after Kanye kicked his old management to the curb and signed with Jay’s Roc Nation. TMZ reports Roc Nation needed time to get up to speed on all things Yeezus before the couple could proceed with their plans. So technically speaking, Jay is making sure that pre-nup is up to snuff.
Sources say Kim and ‘Ye had no problem coming to an agreement on the terms of their pre-nup and it will be signed within a week.

There are reports Jay Z will be the best man, but we’re told that’s not true. He’s invited and he may be the best businessman, but not the best man.
Kim and Kanye are set to walk down the aisle in just over a week, so they better get a move on!
