Start collecting those coins now, because come fall, you’re about to break the bank.

Our calendars are already marked for November 6, a day of expected fashion frenzy when the highly-anticipated Alexander Wang x H&M collection hits stores. But now, we’re circling September 14 and freaking out yet again for Target’s latest lineup in its designer collaborations.

Yesterday, the mass retailer set our fashion hearts aflutter by announcing its new partnership with Altuzarra, the luxury label known for straddling the line between sensual and sophisticated, as seen on RihannaJennifer Lawrence, and the like.

“As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion,” said Joseph Altuzarra in a statement. “It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel. I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”

He spoke exclusively to Style.com to share what we can expect of the 50-or-so piece collection of apparel and accessories, which will range from $17.99 to $89.99, saying:

“I didn’t want to assume that because we were doing a collection with Target that it suddenly had to be a much less interesting product. The collection has to stand on its own, and it is details, volume, and tailoring that make a piece feel rich and special.” The fabrics, too, will lend a luxury feel to the lineup—satin georgette, Swiss dot, slinky jersey, faux fur and leather, jacquard, velveteen, and stretch twill are used throughout.

The collection will launch this fall in stores, on Target.com and netaporter.com. Based on how super successful Target’s previous collaborations have been in the past (see: Phillip Lim and Peter Pilotto), we’re already trying to claim our spot in line NOW.
