It looks like the NBA’s war with Donald Sterling isn’t ending anytime soon.

After the former L.A. Clippers owner was banned by the NBA and forced to sell his team, Sterling has filed a more than $1 billion lawsuit against the basketball organization.

According to TMZ, Sterling believes that he was bullied out of the league after people heard his racist conversation with ex-girlfriend V. Stiviano.

He also claims that the fine he was given ($2.5 million) was baseless and a violation of antitrust laws. Seriously, Sterling?

To top it all off, TMZ reports that the controversial sports figure has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and may have had the disease for as long as five years.

The site states:

Sources connected with the Sterling family tell TMZ … the trust agreement that governs the family’s ownership of the team provides if 2 qualified doctors determine either Donald or Shelly shows “an inability to conduct business affairs in a reasonable and normal manner” … they will then be stripped of control over the team.

We’re told earlier this month Donald agreed to an examination by 2 prominent neurologists.  He underwent extensive tests, including a CT and PET scan. We’re told both doctors diagnosed Donald with Alzheimer’s and concluded he may have had the disease for as long as 5 years.  The doctors both concluded he did not have the ability to conduct the business of the team.

If he chooses to, Donald can appeal the doctors’ conclusions to the California Probate Court.

Donald Sterling isn’t the only one under fire now. Old footage of V. Stiviano also surfaced this week, in which she’s making some very controversial comments about black people.

In a 2011 TV pilot that she filmed for a show about gold diggers (that never got picked up), Stiviano says:

“I don’t understand black people. You give them a little bit of money, they don’t know what to do with it.”

“[Black people] just act crazy … they’re like, ‘Yo, I wanna put extra rims on top of my rims. And my rims are gonna turn around. I’m gonna call them spinners.'”

Meanwhile, the new owner of the L.A. Clippers, Steve Ballmer, is already bonding with the team’s star player Chris Paul.

The former Microsoft CEO was spotted at the L.A. Kings hockey game with Paul yesterday, where they gave each other a hug and were all smiles.

It’s only been a day since Ballmer bought the team from Shelly Sterling for $2 billion, and already he’s making a good name for himself with the team.
