Is Justin Bieber racist because he said the N-word while telling a bad joke when he was 15-years-old?
The Biebs’ former bodyguard Kenny Hamilton thinks not, as he explained via Twitter over the weekend, and now another one of Justin’s pals is speaking up on his behalf – Floyd Mayweather.
After a 5-year-old video of Justin using the derogatory term while hanging out with his friends went viral, Floyd caught wind of the situation and had this to say last night:
Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters & sons over the years. We all make mistakes when we are young, it’s part of growing up.

He added:
I am proud of what he’s doing as a 20 year old musician and business man. #TMT http://t.co/K08cmJm95b http://t.co/IlwS9JmhMc — Floyd Mayweather (@FloydMayweather) June 2, 2014
Justin also issued a statement via Twitter:

Justin’s been in trouble for a lot of things – including his run-ins with the law – but one thing we never had him pinned for was a racist.
