Following up their banging first single “I’m Comin’ Down,” featuring Southern hip-hop legend Bun BYung Texxus and Tek-Neek are back with a new track, “M-O-N-E-Why.”

The two Texan MCs trade verses over a dense and watery beat produced by Tek-Neek. Rehashing a classic rap song theme, the duo ponders their insatiable hunger for the moolah with philosopher/hustler thoughtfulness.

Both singles will be on the mixtape Drive, a collaborative project between them and DJ Scream, dropping July 1st. With Southern swing like this, the album just might put the spotlight on the classic Texas rap sound reminiscent of greats like Geto Boys and, of course, UGK. Peep the new track below.
