Every year, Global Citizen, an organization devoted to the eradication of poverty, prepares a music festival in New York City.
The Global Citizen Festival brings together a group of artists from varied genres to perform on one stage in New York City’s well-known Central Park. Past performers include Neil Young, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, and many more.
This year, Global Citizens has announced that on September 27th, Brooklyn’s finest Jay Z will be headlining the concert, along with the anticipated reunion of No Doubt. Other performers include Carrie Underwood, fun., The Roots, and Tiësto. Sounds like a great line-up to us!
