The diva of sadness and love-sick anthems, Lana Del Rey is downright charming on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine’s July issue. Her tunes might give us some somber feelings, but there is nothing solemn about the cover, on which Lana is curled up next to a shady gray cat rocking her signature retro hairstyle and fiery red lips.

Inside the magazine, Lana had plenty to say about her singing career and her highly criticized Saturday Night Live performance. The Ultraviolence singer even commented on her state of mind:

“Well, I feel fucking crazy, but I don’t think I am. People make me feel crazy. I find that most people I meet figure I kind of want to kill myself anyway. So, it comes up every time.”

While she might not be medically crazy, but it may seem a little nuts to hear Lana say she hopes people don’t listen her lyrics at all.

I just don’t want them to hear it at all. I’m very selfish. I make everything for me, kind of. I mean, every little thing, down to the guitar and the drums. It’s just for me… I don’t want them to hear it and think about it. It’s none of their business!”

We can only wonder what she thinks of her album going to number one on the Billboard charts? Check out Lana Del Rey’s Rolling Stone cover and for more information about the singer, cop a copy of the issue this Friday.
