Vanity Fair has spoken.

The Hollywood-centric magazine just released its International Best Dressed List, and we have to admit, there are some pretty stylish people who made the cut. Of course it was satisfying to see the usual suspects like Emma Watson and Lupita Nyong’o, but there were also a couple of unexpected stars who made it.

Although he definitely has a unique sense of style, it was a little surprising to see Pharrell Williams front and center. The Billionaire Boys Club owner may be recognized as an all-around trendy guy, but he had many questioning his taste when he debuted his big Vivienne Westwood Buffalo hat earlier this year. Whether you fancy the hat or not, he certainly started a trend. On the other side of the fashionable male coin, the always dapper Idris Elba also snagged a nod.

Along with musicians and Hollywood actors, the chosen included a veritable A-List of royalty and entrepreneurs. Nasty Gal CEO and author of Girl Boss, Sophia Amoruso, was honored, along with various Pulitzer Prize winners and businesspeople.

However, it was a little shocking that Rihanna was missing from the list, especially after earning the title of “Fashion Icon” at the CFDAs earlier this year. And, neither Kerry Washington nor Nicole Richie were included.
