If you follow Rita Ora‘s Instagram, or even peep her on the red carpet every once in a while, you know her style changes from day-to-day – but no matter what, it is always fabulous. And now the British entertainer is showcasing that aforementioned brilliant style on the cover of Glamour UK.
On the cover of the magazine’s September issue, the singer goes business chic with a little twist in a black and white Ralph Lauren suit. Topped off with cherry red lipstick, Rita shows a lot of skin, opening up her white collared shirt to flaunt her flat stomach.
The accompanying photoshoot shows Rita in a series of outfits, ranging the gamut from sporty and casual, to chic and glamorous. Inside the mag, she also opens up about having sex appeal, her friends, and biggest inspirations.
As far as being a capital C Celebrity, it’s clear Rita has no problem in that department. She loves being viewed in that light:
“I love being glamorous. I hate being caught off-guard at an airport… You’re an entertainer, you’re meant to be an illusion, giving light out there, something to believe in. Like all my idols. Madonna, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, they were myths of greatness.”
Speaking of Madonna, the singer revealed she was nearly hyperventilating when she met the diva. But besides following her pop culture icons, Rita turns to a bigger support system – her friends – whom she constantly shows off on Instagram, including “wifey” Cara Delevingne and singer Ellie Goulding.
“Only a few people in this industry stick by their word and those girls do. It’s a pact. I can smell the difference.”
Her biggest support and inspiration, however, is her “mum.”
“When I see my mum I remember. The struggle of adjusting. To pick up two kids and a husband and adapt to a new world, new language, no job. That’s what you call a fucking inspirational woman.”
