Darren Wilson, the Ferguson officer who shot and killed unarmed Michael Brown three weeks ago in St. Louis, has been receiving money donations from supporters for weeks, but it looks like that’s come to an end.

After a huge public outcry against two of the GoFundMe pages that were created to raise money for the suspended officer, the pages have disappeared off the site, but no one knows why they were taken down.

According to theHuffington Post, GoFund Me revealed that they did not take down the pages, which had raised almost $500,000. The news also comes after the comments were disabled on the page due to all of the comments against the campaign.

The site reports:

In a Facebook post, the Support Darren Wilson confirmed that their online fundraiser had ended but vowed to continue raising money for the St. Louis County cop.

According to the page’s moderators, the decision to end the fundraiser was “made by those closest to Officer Darren Wilson looking out for his best interest.” The group said that any donations that were already made would go directly to Wilson.

In Ferguson, progress is being made for the citizens fighting for the justice of Michael Brown, as it’s reported that officers have started to wear body cameras while on duty.

Despite what many might believe, the team is said to already be enjoying them as they get used to wearing them.

Fox News reports:

Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that approximately 50 cameras were donated by two companies, Safety Visions and Digital Ally, last week. Officers had the devices on during a protest march Saturday and captured what Jackson said were high-quality images of demonstrators taunting police.

Jackson said that the cameras were being assigned to the city’s police squads and each officer would get one to use. Representatives from the two companies had visited the police department earlier Saturday to train officers on how to use the cameras.
