Andre 3000 has been actively promoting his new film, Jimi: All By My Side. After making appearances on Ellen and The Queen Latifah Show, the Outkast member sits down with David Letterman to discuss his latest role as the legendary rocker, Jimi Hendrix. The rapper has admitted to being nervous when it came to playing the role and even doubted himself while filming. “There was times when I was like, ‘Man, I think I’ve done more than I can handle,’” Andre said. Soulja Boy is facing misdemeanor charges for unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm. The Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood star was pulled over by the cops this past January and they found a loaded gun under the passenger seat. Soulja claimed that the weapon was not his, and was instead his neighbor’s. He was arrested immediately, although the investigation took months. [TMZ]

South Central L.A. rapper Too Short was also found with a loaded gun, but his was in his carry-on at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. The rapper fled the building as his bag was being screened by TSA and left his belongings behind. Short later returned to the airport with his attorney and was charged with a misdemeanor possession of a loaded handgun in public. Too Short is scheduled for a court appearance on November 3rd. London electronic duo Disclosure joined Mary J. Blige  for a performance that had the crowd jumping on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show this past Thursday. After much success from their latest album Settle, the duo and the queen of R&B performed their revamped version of “F For You.” Mary is currently working on her new album, The London Sessions which will be featuring Disclosure, as well as Sam Smith and others.
