Most of the time, Kanye West is a man of many words. Many quizzical, eyebrow-raising, what-the-heck-worthy, and oftentimes genius words.
Other times, though, he doesn’t want to talk. And he doesn’t want you to talk to him or anyone that he knows, like at the flagship store opening party for A.P.C. this week.
‘Ye showed up to the Los Angeles store in support of the French label and his friend Jean Touitou, with whom he’s collaborated on two collections with, and when he was approached by WWD, he flashed them his diamond teeth and said:
“I love A.P.C. — my only quote.”
It seems like he and Touitou have been spending too much time together, because when WWD went to the creative director for a comment, he didn’t have much to say either:
“No press. I’m always misquoted.”
Yeezy taught him.
