Rapper Big Paybacc is dead after a gunman opened fire inside a McDonald’s in Palmdale, CA Thursday, police say.
The rapper, real name Habeeb Ameer Zekajj, was eating lunch around 12:30 p.m. when the gunman walked inside the restaurant and began shooting. Police say the shooting was not random and believe it to be premeditated.
There were 15 other customers in the McDonald’s when the shooting occurred.
LA County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Corina told reporters, “There was no altercation … This guy just walked in through one door, shot him and left out another door. So it looked like something personal. He had something against this individual. It wasn’t like he shot up the McDonald’s. He just shot him and left.”
Zekajj leaves behind three children. Police are investigating his murder.
