To celebrate all of the veterans who dedicated their time and lives to keep this country safe, Rihanna and Eminem headed down to the nation’s capital to perform for over 800,000 vets and their families.
The three-hour “Concert For Valor” aired live on HBO last night and featured musical performances by Eminem, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Dave Grohl, and country star Carrie Underwood. Hollywood actors like Meryl Streep, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, and legendary director Steven Spielberg also greeted veterans for the concert series.
Dressed like a glamorous nun, Rihanna performed her Talk That Talk smash hits “Diamonds” and “Stay,” before bringing out Eminem to run through “Monster” and his Sia-assisted single “Guts Over Fear.” Eminem went on to perform “Not Afraid” and one of his most popular songs, “Lose Yourself.”
Em is scheduled to drop the Shady XV compilation album on November 24.
