Five people were killed in shootings across three Pennsylvania communities Monday in what law enforcement officials are calling a “domestic dispute.”
The gunman, who has not been identified, has barricaded himself in a Souderton-area home, police say.
The gunman shot and killed his wife and then shot and killed other members of his family at a different location Monday morning, the official said.
The shootings happened at several places in Montgomery County, said John Corcoran, deputy director of public safety there.
A “shelter in place” was issued Monday morning by the Souderton Area School District. All schools are secured.
