A woman from Salem, Massachusetts has pleaded guilty to slashing her children’s throats and setting their apartment on fire. A judge sentenced the woman to up to 25 years in prison. Thankfully, her children survived. [CBS]

An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening a Connecticut town after being bullied for an extended period of time. The UConn freshman said East Lyme “better be ready for the hail of bullets.” He was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. [Daily Mail]
