As we celebrate the life and legacy of the great Martin Luther King Jr. today, many are paying tribute to the late civil rights leader in their own ways.

While some have spread many inspiring quotes of his, violinist Miri Ben-Ari is using her music to honor him. She recently released a video to her new single “Symphony of Brotherhood,” which is a tribute to Dr. King, as she connects with the message of the song as a third generation to Holocaust survivors.

She composed the track nearly a decade ago, after taking a visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Atlanta, saying of the song:

“Growing up in Israel as a third generation to Holocaust Survivors and visiting the site inspired me to use one of my original compositions as a soundtrack for the timeless “I Have A Dream” speech from the march on Washington in August 281963. My experience taught me how important it is, especially in today’s society, to fight against racism and discrimination and music can deliver the message of social justice in a very powerful way.”
