What’s that you say? Azealia Banks pushed some buttons on social media last night? No way.

The Broke With Expensive Taste rapper is no stranger to controversy. In fact, they’re like BFFs. With that in mind, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Azealia upset people after posting a picture of herself covered in makeup with the caption “#whiteface.”

(And this came after Azealia shared, well, this….:)

Problematic, much? After receiving backlash for the photo, the Harlem rapstress took to Twitter to explain what she was really doing, which was shooting a video for her “Ice Princess” single. Yet, she had to have known she was sparking up some drama when she used that hashtag.

Unfortunately, her explanation only added fuel to the flame, as she let out a series of tweets using words like “crackers” and “nigger” to, uh, defend herself.

Banks touched on Snoop Dogg and the double standard of finding the time he transformed into the white guy Todd funny, yet she was deemed offensive – what she says is an act of misogynoir – a term used to describe hatred against black women.

She ended her discourse by diverting the attention to homophobia, calling out the “gay media.”

Stay tuned for the next edition of “Azealia Banks Pisses People Off.” In the meantime, let us know how you feel in the comments below.
