Richard Sherman might not have taken home that Super Bowl win this past weekend, but he got something even better earlier today.
The Seattle Seakhawks football star has welcomed his new baby boy with his girlfriend Ashley Moss, whose name is Rayden.
Even though their son was due on February 12th, and some were worried that Ashley was going to go into labor during the day of the Super Bowl, today is a symbolic date for Richard, as his jersey is #25.
Richard tweeted about the amazing news:
My son sure does know how to make an entrance! 2/5/15… Is it a coincidence or is he just that clever?! Either way I’m ecstatic

Congrats to the happy couple on their new bundle of joy! We can’t wait to get a glimpse of the little guy.
