The Hispanic man passed away Tuesday evening when authorities shot him near a busy intersection in Pasco. Zambrano’s death was captured on camera, and the video is extremely graphic.
Nearly 700 people, including his family, marched on the streets where Zambrano was shot.

Witnesses describe the protest as peaceful. Protesters also demonstrated a die-in during the gathering. Since the death, Zambrano’s widow filed a $25 million lawsuit against the city. The lawsuit states that the officers who shot Zambrano used excessive force.
We pray for the Zambrano-Montes during this difficult time.
