The tragic death of Tejano pop superstar Selena is still hitting her fans hard nearly two decades later, but her family is making sure that her family is going to live on.

According to the late singer’s Facebook page, Selena’s family has confirmed to Billboard that they plan to resurrect her as a hologram, and will be releasing new music, along with a tour.

The hologram has already been named as “Selena The One,” and has been said to be a “walking, talking, singing, and dancing, digital embodiment” of the icon.

The official site for the upcoming hologram has launched a IndieGoGo campaign, which will go live on April 16th, in hopes of raising $500,000 for Independent tech company Acrovirt LLC to build it.

The Facebook page also says that the “digitized essence will release new songs and videos, will collaborate with current hit artists and aims to go on tour in 2018.”

Selena will be following in the footsteps of Tupac, Eazy E, and other celebrities, who have been transformed into holograms to put on performances for fans in the past years.
