Another day, another Russell Simmons power move!
The hip-hop mogul and his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, have embarked on yet another million dollar venture together. Ming and Aoki Lee’s parents led the $15.95 million backing of Celsius, the world’s first negative calorie and fat burning beverage.
It’s no secret that the famous mogul and former supermodel are super health conscious, now they’re expanding their empire all while encouraging others to be more cognizant of their health.
Russell Simmons released a statement about the new venture, saying:
“As a practicing yogi and vegan, I’m always cognizant of my health and what I put into my body. I found Celsius at a local market, fell in love with the drink’s clean energy and called Kimora immediately. It was clear we needed to learn more about the company.”
