Since the sudden death of Lionel “Chinx Drugz” Pickens, the family has released information on his funeral arrangements, as well as details on how fans can help with donations.

Police are still looking into the shooting that took the 31-year-old’s life and left his friend and Coke Boy rapper Yemen in critical condition, Pix11 reports. The rapper was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Yemen’s car after leaving a lounge in Queens.

Doug Ellison, the rapper’s manager, created a GoFundMe page and also announced Chinx would be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 26 at the Greater Allen A. M. E. Cathedral of New York. The wake will begin at 11 a.m. and the funeral at noon.

With Chinx being the sole source of income for his three children, his family and Ellison are hoping friends and fans can donate to cover funeral expenses and the well-being of his children.

As you can imagine, in today’s challenging economic climate, losing your primary source of income can be devastating. When that loss is due to the unexpected death, it leaves a void that can never truly be filled.

Instead of sending flowers, please consider helping the family fill part of the financial void. Your donations will help provide much needed financial stability to a family who deserves so much more than what they have been dealt. We cannot replace the warmth, charisma, wit, charm, and love that Chinx gave to not only his family, and friends, but also, his fans. We can however, help keep them focused on what really matters, and that is each other.

As of Thursday, the page has raised just over $13,000 of their $100,000 goal. You can donate to the family here.
