Eminem’s good for lacing a soundtrack.
Em contributes a stellar new track titled “Phenomenal” for the Antoine Fuqua-directed film Southpaw. Originally, Eminem was supposed to depict the film’s main character “Billy Hope,” but Jake Gyllenhaal scored the lead role when the Detroit rapper declined to participate.
“The feeling is so bomb, I’m feeling myself, I’m a giant sometimes I gotta remind myself that I’m phenomenal,” raps Em.
“Phenomenal” will appear on the Southpaw soundtrack; the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, and Forest Whitaker. Catch it in theaters July 24.
