PAPER Magazine gives us a reverberation of “Break the Internet” shock value in the form of Miley Cyrus posing nude with her pet pig Bubba Sue on its summer issue.
This issue’s over-arching theme—”Use Your Voice”—features an article on Cyrus’s Happy Hippie Foundation, a non-profit that works to aid homeless and LGBT youth. Also included in this issue are conversations with Al Gore, Pharrell Williams, and other celebs “who’ve used their voices to change the world,” according to PAPER. The issue hits newsstands June 22 and promises to include more bananas photos of Cyrus.
According to PAPER:
For the shoot, we got Miley together with creative director Diane Martel (who directed Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” video) and photographer Paola Kudacki. In addition to her shoot co-star, pet pig Bubba Sue, there was a glass pyramid, some body paint and very little clothing.
Only time will tell if Cyrus’s nudity will eclipse that of Kim K’s; stay tuned.
