Angelina Jolie is an unstoppable force.
Following her directorial debut in last year’s drama, Unbroken, Jolie will direct By The Sea, in which she will star with her hubby Brad Pitt. The drama will detail an American couple, played by Jolie and Pitt, as they spend time at a seaside resort in France while their marriage is in crisis mode.

Though Aniston’s parents weren’t in attendance, the star-studded guest list surely made up for it. Lisa Kudrow, Chelsea Handler, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Kimmel, and many more celebrities were in attendance. Courtney Cox was Aniston’s best woman, while tattoo artist Scott Campbell was Theroux’s best man.
Congrats to the happy couple!
Jon Stewart bid his show farewell last night with a bang. Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band played at the show, in addition to a long-winded list of politicians and comedians that said their goodbyes in a video montage.
Per Daily News:
“This show isn’t ending, we’re merely taking a small pause in the conversation — which by the way, I have hogged,” Stewart said in his final moments. “We’re just taking a pause, so rather than saying goodbye or goodnight, I’m just gonna say, ‘I’m gonna go get a drink and I’ll see you around.'”
We’ll miss you, Jon.
Empire director Lee Daniels is working on a new show called Star for FOX, and it’s about the rise of an all-girl band. The show will star Orange Is The New Black actress Uzo Aduba and Glee‘s Amber Riley.
From The YBF:
Set in Atlanta, “Star” is a drama that centers on three girls who are coming together to form a band and all the drama and conflict they encounter on their rise to the top.
FOX spokeswoman Dana Walden spoke about “Star” saying, “The project features a lot of Lee’s own DNA and represents a new perspective, that of the artist. The setup lends to a great soap operatic storytelling machine.”
Lee will co-write and executive produce the series with The Whole Truth creator Tom Donaghy, and he’ll also direct. Star is a part of an overall deal he signed with 20th Century Fox TV.
We found out after getting a star Wednesday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she went to dinner with disso-queen Laura Wasser and fellow lawyer, Melanie Mandles. Our sources say they were looking for pressure points to make Nick seal the deal on the divorce. They believe he’s dragging his feet.
We’re told it’s all about money … there’s no doubt she’ll have the lion’s share of custody of the twins.
Hmm…it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.
