The Daily Grind Video

Whether you hated or loved Miley Cyrus as the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, you’re not going to believe the network’s next stunt.

Execs are thinking about letting Kanye West host next year’s show. First, you should know one thing: Kanye’s epic 12-minute Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech last night was only supposed to go on for two minutes, but it was so great, the producers decided not to cut him off.

Besides, they probably remember when the Grammys tried to stop Yeezy’s speech… #YeForPresident2020. In the meantime, TMZ says MTV has the idea on the table for 2016.

We’re told after Kanye left the stage, an MTV big wig followed him to his dressing room and gushed about the spectacle.

Would you like to see ‘Ye on hosting duty?
