Serena Williams is dominant on the red carpet, too.
Last night, the tennis champion turned up the glam at Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year ceremony in New York City, and her sultry ensemble stole the show. Wearing head-to-toe lace, Serena flaunted her flawless figure in a sheer LBD fitted with a full skirt.
Her shorter, wavy hairdo is worth a mention as well. How stunning is this woman?
Venus Williams was also in attendance for Serena’s big night, and she presented her sister with the Sportsperson of the Year award. Upon acceptance, Serena took the opportunity to motivate other women to achieve their goals:
“For all the ladies out there, yes we can do it… My hope [that] by winning this award [I] can inspire many many many more women. I still have goals and I still have dreams of winning and this award makes me actually want to work harder to reach more goals.”
Serena is the first woman to win the award since 1983, and the first African-American woman to be named Sportsperson of the Year.
