It looks like Steve Harvey isn’t going to be in the dog house all around the world for his Miss Universe blunder, as he’s getting another chance at hosting.

The comedian has been at the center of headlines since the weekend after he misread the card for him to announce the winners of the Miss Universe pageant.

After announcing that Miss Colombia had won the title, and was even crowned, he took to the stage to say that he made a mistake, as Miss Philippines was the real winner.

Now, Belize wants to give the talk show host another chance to make up for his mistake, and have invited him to host their biggest beauty pageant next summer.

According to the NY Daily News, the country was impressed with how Steve Harvey handled his mistake and apology, and want to give him another go at the job.

The country wants Steve to host their International Costa Maya Festival which goes from August 6th to August 9th, and is their biggest festival.

It looks like Steve may not stay be most hated man in the universe for long, thanks to Belize.

Do you think Belize is making a good decision?
