Snapchat could be plotting a major upgrade – that is if leaked images of the app’s ChatV2 design hold any weight.
TechCrunch reports:
A number of new features have been spotted within the existing code for Snapchat’s mobile app, including audio and video calling, as well as stickers within Snapchat’s chat interface, among other things.
Meanwhile, there’s a new set of emojis set to debut this summer, and it finally includes the long-awaited…bacon!
Also making its debut will be the avocado emoji, as well as a croissant, two clinking glasses of champagne, a black heart, and a boxing glove, just to name a few. The new emojis will be part of the Unicode 9.0 update, which is set to land this summer and could be included on iOS 10 in September.
It’s about damn time.
