You don’t have to be an animal lover to enjoy this.

In the midst of fashion week madness, we took a break from the regular and decided to check out a show that’s bound to put a smile on your face. Pet designer Anthony Rubio presented his FW 2016 collection on the runway at Gotham Hall and in this show, the dogs were the focus and the models were mere accessories.

I’m all about the dogs. I’m all about rescuing. I’m all about adopt don’t shop. It’s about bringing awareness to people,” said Rubio.

Don’t let their adorable faces fool you, these pups were decked out in fabulous gowns that could cost more than your entire closet. “Everything starts at $300 and it runs up to a couple thousand dollars. My most expensive piece was about $5,000.”

While these canines quickly became the unlikely stars of NYFW, it’s far from their first experience with fame. Mochi, the 1-year old Maltipoo, boasts over 40,000 followers on Instagram, while Rubio’s two “sons” have made a name for themselves as well.

“These are my boys, Bogie and Kimba. They’re twins. I adopted them at two-and-a-half months old and they’ve become famous in their own right. They have their own book, Two Dogs of New York. And they’ve been featured on just about every TV and morning show.”

Oh, and let’s not forget about ZZ, the standout poodle with pink ears. For the 80’s-themed New York Pet Fashion show, she rocked a Run DMC-inspired ‘fit.

Let’s face it, humans are cool and all, but they just aren’t this entertaining.
